I prevaricated over whether to write in the first, or third, person. Then I decided not to try to fool anyone: I don't have a flunkey to write my bio for me.
I'm from Brighton, via Edinburgh College of Art and Tower Hamlets.
My graduate show won a coveted D&AD Best of New Blood award.
I've worked with clients including: The National Trust, The Big Issue, The Scotsman, The List, The Skinny, The Scottish Sustainable Development Forum, Organic Pleasures, Brighton Illustrators Group, The Campaign for Drawing and Onefinestay.
I also have experience as a drawing workshop leader, in partnership with the Architecture Foundation, London. I taught children in Year 5 and 6, making hands-on projects which explored the built environment and the fun of drawing. If you'd like to commission me to make an illustration, I'd love to hear from you. Please get in touch - hello@thinkinink.co.uk
The reason this website is called 'Think In Ink' is down to the pleasure of drawing with ink and brush, which forms the basis for most of my work. I also love screenprinting, linocutting, painting and going digital. Jewel colours make my world go round.
